Michael Mortellite founder of MBM Dental Studio located in Hammonton, New Jersey is a graduate of Lyons Institute of Dental Technology. Michael has over thirty years experience in the Art and Science of dental ceramics. MBM Dental Studio opened its doors in 1989. The business is an intimate high quality laboratory which specializes in full mouth function and reconstruction for doctors and dentists. Michael is proud to partner with many clients who have sought out and received training by the prestigious Panky and Dawson institutes to further their education in esthetic and cosmetic dentistry practices. MBM Dental Studio prides itself on delivering cases which highlight the excellent, esthetic and restorative dentistry it sets its high standards on.
Mike's passion for higher education and honing of his artistic talents has driven him to study with numerous talented technicians within the United States, Europe and Japan. This is including but not limiting to the following: Willie Geller Oral Design Group, Richard V. Tucker's Cast Gold Study Group and the Noritake Dental Group under Aki Yoshida. These courses highlight and enhanced his layering techniques, perusable ceramics and various other ceramic and zirconia systems.
Michael has authored numerous articles which have been published in many diverse industry publications including The Inscial Edge Dental Journal. Mr. Mortellite has been selected by leading manufacturers such as Darby Dental and Benco Dental to highlight the benefits of exciting new esthetic products. He has lectured on the benefits and esthetics of Noritake porcelains on behalf of Zahn Dental Laboratory, A Division of Henry Schein. He has also served as support to the company as a technical consultant and hands-on clinician while continuing to lecture on multiple topics in various venues. Most recently he conducted a presentation on his advanced layering technique for internal translucency using Noritake Luster and spacious body porcelains. The combination of the products utilized correctly creates a life like restoration for zirconia, PFM'S, and pressed zirconia cases.
